Green Coffee Bean is most effective when taken 30 mins before eating. The main active ingredient is believed to be the chlorogenic acid. Studies suggest that it can reduce the absorption of carbohydrates from the digestive tract, which lowers blood sugar and insulin spikes . Taking green coffee bean extract is like eating a slightly lower carbohydrate diet. Studies have also suggested that chlorogenic acid may reduce body weight by reducing fat absorbed from the diet, and reducing fat stored in the liver. It is also known to improve the function of the fat burning hormone adiponectin . Chlorogenic acid has also been shown to improve cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Green coffee bean extract contains caffeine.

Directions for use: Take 1 to 2 a day. Mix with 10-16 ounces of water. Drink 10-15 minutes before breakfast and lunch.
