Military Appreciation Honoree - Master Chief Stella L. Reyes

Master Chief Stella L. Reyes
U.S. Navy, Retired

I served 30 years in the U.S. Navy and have learned a lot along the way. My personal anecdote is two-fold. First, I learned to respect others no matter what their rank. Rank does not always dictate greatness, and when you give respect to all (officers, enlisted and civilians alike) you will build an elite team surrounded by an environment of success. Secondly, as you advance in your career, do not be blinded by the notoriety that comes with rank but instead look beyond and realize that rank comes with privilege and that privilege is to serve more people with respect and hard work.
